And a tired. I promised so many people that i'd be in bed on about an hour ago, and yet here I sit.... surfin' teh InterWhatsits....
Bless me, Father, for I am a procrastinator. It's been over 10 weeks since my last update and even this one isn't much. just enough to say that I am still living with my mother on the West Island, still have two cats, still in travel but (and this is why I'm posting here), my job has changed.
I GOT A PROMOTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've update my status "over there" but there are people here who aren't over there, so you all know now.
I'm going to bed but I'll be back when I've got a lot more to say and a lot more sleep to help me function.

OK so Montreal Peeps!! Here ye, here ye!!
I want to see Wolverine tonight and I am like less than ONE block from the Paramount. The ticket office opens at noon, my lunch is at 1:00 and I can pick up as many tickets as needed at that time. I'd need to know who's in before then.
Who wants to come and drool at teh pretty with me? Give me times and I'll get tickets for the democratically decided-upon showing. |

First, appologies all around once again for the confusion in my last post. I had teh dumb and my brain wasn't even in the same building as I was when I posted this morning.
Secondly, it has been suggested that a meal, possibly beforehand, would be a good idea. So.... any suggestions? I am actually good to go anywhere, as I am on vacation that week. I'm thinking the Plateau for proximity's sake, but really, where ever's good for most is great for me.

EDIT: *sigh* First thank you for the wishessorcerortcaptain, but the actual date is March 2nd. Can you come back then?
EDIT le second: *sigh* le second. Not that wise, as it turns out. I may need a few more years. The date for this little shindig is Friday February 27th, after 8:30pm. Sorry for the confusion, all!!
So it's my birthday (yes, again!!) and I am not doing anything I haven't done before.
I will start at a bar called Plan B on Mount Royal, for drinks, and continue to Passeport for dancing and more drinks. Plan B is really casual but they have this one drink, a Chocolate Key Lime martini, which is the best thing ever, and Passeport has 80s on Friday nights (usually, so here's hoping).
This is an open invitation so if you can see this, please feel free to attend either one or both of the locations.
Hope to see as many of you as possible!

OK so there was a stop at the Aunt's to warm up, feed my belly and help with computer problems, but still FIVE HOURS!!!! Honestly, driver-type people, why does the snow surprise you EVERY YEAR?? Learn to drive, you morons!!!

Hey all!!! So I am finally able to sit down and recap the events of the past month or so. I have "limited" access to Facebook, as I do not yet have an Internet connection on my computer, and Mom uses hers for work. I try to stay off it as much as possible. Facebook is a blocked site at work (more on that under the cut) but not LJ, w00t, so I am able to stay somewhat connected with most of you.
That's it for me. If you want to get in touch, I'm downtown until 5 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Coffee? A meal? A movie? Whatever suits you. As long as I'm at Lionel Groulx for 9:15pm on nights when I work the next day, I'm game for anything. |

Having bitten off more than I can chew and having procrastinated like I have never procrastinated before, if you have nothing better to do Saturday June 21st, PLEASE COME AND HELP!!! I will provide lunch/supper for those who do show up at my place, 106 Delinelle, after 10 am.
I know, I know, most of you have lives, jobs and/or your own moves to contend with, but if you're done with the second two, and have nothing better to do on what promises to be a somewhat shitty weather day, I will be packing up stuff chez nous all day Saturday (for the most part) in prep for the move on Sunday.
No real need to RSVP. If you show, you show. If not, have a great weekend and I'll fill y'all in sometime next week re: my new life.
